A little about me and where these patches come from.

Hey, I’m Nick. I started collecting patches a few years ago when I first got into public safety. It's common among Police/Fire/EMS to trade/collect both patches and challenge coins, which I've found to be a great side project.

Nearly every patch here came straight from the department itself. A lot of agencies are careful about who they send patches to, but I refuse to buy patches from third parties (such as eBay). Most of the time patches are mailed to me directly from the agency, however I enjoy visitng departments when I travel, which is another way I've been able to acquire some of these patches.

What does “verified” mean?

It just means I’m confident the patch is authentic. 99.99% this will be the case as nearly all of the patches here came directly from the departments themselves.

Can I buy one?

Nope — nothing here is for sale or trade. A lot of these were only shared with me because of a trusted relationship with the agency, so it wouldn’t be right to pass them on.
